Roleplaying / Use of Boards
- This rule cannot be stressed enough...ALL spelling and grammar MUST be checked before posting roleplays, as well as submitting segments for weekly shows and monthly pay-per-views! It doesn't look good when someone reads a roleplay or the owners receive a segment and all they see are mistakes. One or two words is understandable, but if mistakes are excessive in a roleplay, that is inexcusable. This rule applies to EVERYONE and NO EXCEPTIONS will be made at any time. All PCs have the spell & grammar check ability, so PLEASE use it. NO ABBREVIATIONS are to be used (except for things like Mr. and Mrs., but you may not use abbreviations for simple words like "u" or "r" or even states), you MUST use actual words. If you violate this rule, your roleplay will not count towards your match and you will also run the risk of management having to delete your roleplay altogether. Repeated violation of this rule will result in termination from the fed. This is your only warning.
- All roleplays MUST contain NO LESS than 20 lines of text. If a roleplay contains less than 20 lines of text, it will not be counted towards your match. This rule applies to EVERYONE and NO EXCEPTIONS will be made at any time. Please click "Preview" on the roleplay board to check to see if you have the required amount. If not, continue to add more to it until you have the amount required.
- Be as creative as you want in your roleplays, but the main focus of your posts must be your match (unless you are posting a developmental roleplay, in which case your focus must be character development).
- Lack of roleplaying will not be tolerated in the fed. If you fail to roleplay without notifying anyone, you will be placed on the cut list. If you are placed on the cut list, you will have 24 hours from the list's posting (which will be located on the RP and OOC boards) to email the owners with a reasonable excuse as to why you didn't roleplay (illness, personal emergency, work, death in the family, etc. - we understand these things happen and are out of your control) in order for any character(s) involved to be put back on the roster (you may also reply via the RP or OOC boards). Failure to reply within the 24-hour time limit will mean the character(s) involved will be cut permanently and you will no longer be able to use them or submit any applications for any extra characters. Simply saying that you forgot to roleplay, got dates mixed up, etc. will not be considered reasonable excuses.
- If you are a champion defending a title in a match and you fail to roleplay for it, your opponent will be declared the winner and the new champion (only if they roleplay) and you will NOT be granted a title rematch. If, in a title match, BOTH participants fail to roleplay, the owners will vacate the championship involved.
- If you are a champion and you lose your title in a match, you are entitled to a rematch for the title that you lose, but you have a one-week time period in which to request the rematch (you must also have roleplayed in the match you defend your title in). The owners will also have the final word on when title rematches will take place. Failure to do so means that you will not receive a rematch.
- You do NOT have permission to include other wrestlers or their managers/valets in your roleplays or segments unless you have their prior permission from their handlers. You must ask permission from them on the OOC Board for everyone, including management, to see. If they give you permission, only then may you use their characters in your roleplays or segments.
- Absolutely NO out-of-character messages are to be posted on the Roleplay Board at ANY time! If this rule is violated, management will delete any OOC posts made on the RP Board.
All roleplays are judged by QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. Just because you may post more roleplays than your opponent, that doesn't mean that you will automatically win your match.
- No complaining on the message boards. This isn't censorship, but negative criticism and moaning leads to confrontation and this is what we try to avoid in the WMW. If you have a problem with anything, voice it privately via e-mail to the person concerned or to the owners.
- NO SPAMMING PERIOD!
- DO NOT get involved in matters that don't concern you or your wrestler. If something has happened between two members, then leave them and the owners to sort it out. Interfering in matters only makes things worse. Keep your opinions to yourself.
Roleplay Limits
- The roleplay limit for each weekly show will be 2 per person per match, while the roleplay limit for monthly pay-per-views will be 2 per person per match.
- The roleplay deadline for shows will be 12 NOON on Thursday and monthly pay-per-view events is 12:00 NOON board time on the FRIDAY BEFORE the event. YOUR SHOW PROMO MAY BE SUBMITTED ANYTIME UP TO 12 HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT.
Roster/Matches
- All cards for Friday NIGHT Carnage will be posted following the posting of the results of the show currently scheduled. PPV cards will be updated as matches are made for them. DO NOT ask when a card will be posted - just be patient and wait. You are also not permitted to post on the RP or OOC boards asking when a card will be posted - these messages will be deleted. Repeated violation of this rule will result in suspension and/or termination from the fed.
- It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to check to see if you are booked on a card, not anyone else's. DO NOT ask management or another handler if you are booked - again, you must check for yourself. You are also not permitted to post on the RP or OOC boards either asking if you are booked. Repeated violation of this rule will result in suspension and/or termination from the fed.
- Once a card for either Carnage or a pay-per-view event is posted, it is final and cannot/will not be changed. It is your responsibility to inform management ahead of time if you will be unable to roleplay for certain events on certain dates. If you inform management of this after a card has been posted, you will still remain on it.
- Do not complain if you are not booked for an event. Management believes in giving roleplayers a break once in a while, so if you are not booked for an event, this is why. You will, of course, still be able to submit segments to be included in show results
- You are only permitted to handle no more than two wrestlers. No exceptions to this rule will be made for anyone at any time.
- Stables may only consist of no more than four wrestlers. No exceptions will be made for anyone at any time.
- All new members will start off at the very bottom of the fed. It takes time to work your way up any wrestling promotion be it real or fake, and the WMW is no exception. Most of the people in the top divisions have taken a while to get where they are now.
- The owners reserve the right to move wrestlers up and down the roster as they feel necessary. This CANNOT be questioned by the person(s) involved.
- DO NOT request title shots. The owners are the only ones who will decide contendership for championships. If the owners feel that you deserve a title shot, then you will receive one. Title shots are earned only through roleplaying.
- 99% of the time, the best roleplayer will usually win the match. However, if the owners feel that there is a need for a change or sudden loss, then unexpected things can happen. This is purely to build on existing angles and/or to create new ones. THIS IS NOT UP FOR DISCUSSION!
- New members are not given long-lasting feuds and angles with other people until they've been in the fed for over a month. This is because we need to see if you are going to stick around. Many new members join the fed and then disappear shortly after, meaning that if we had someone feuding with them, then that feud would be over and it would be a waste of our time for going along with it.
- You may NOT use any information pertaining to dreams and/or off-camera segments against your opponents. That's why they are considered off-camera and/or dreams.
- DO NOT question the outcome of a match regardless of the result, NO EXCEPTIONS!.
- Just as can happen in results, new angles/storylines can also be created in segments submitted for weekly shows and PPV's. If the owners feel that something good will come out of them, the segments and feuds will be approved, regardless of whether or not the other person is finding out about it for the first time, hence the fact that unexpected things can happen at anytime to help build interest in the fed. Those involved should NOT question the owners' decision to approve feuds, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
